how do we reignite our personal leadership?
Thursday 14th june (6pm) at king's cross skip garden
Join us for a discussion with fellow change makers about reigniting personal leadership and drive in challenging times.
We are capable of extraordinary leadership when our intellect and sense of identity are both activated and aligned. How can we cultivate ourselves to be courageous, purpose-led leaders in a world where universal values are so often being undermined? How to we sustain our vitality and motivation to lead in this time of crisis, uncertainty and volatility?
Amongst others, hear from Andrew Raingold (co-founder of Change in Nature) about his personal leadership journey from the frontline of Westminster (as Executive Director of the Aldersgate Group) to the frontline of the refugee crisis (on the Greek island of Samos).
Following the discussion there will be drinks, music and food as part of a Summer Get Together in solidarity with refugees and a chance to socialise with like-minded peers in a relaxed and inspiring environment.

A green oasis in the middle of the King’s Cross development. This sustainable urban garden really is a charming oasis with wild flowers, vegetables and herbs, beehives and chicken coops. Starting as a moveable vegetable garden built in skips, the Skip Garden has now grown into a community project that provides all kinds of opportunities for local young people. Everything is built using recycled materials – mostly from the construction site – and more than a thousand hands have come together to create the garden. This is a community effort in every sense and the project brings together people of all ages and backgrounds.
