Resilience Training for Space Holders

Rooted & Ready: A resilience toolkit to support yourself and others in challenging times

Starting Tuesday 11th November 2025

5 weekly online gatherings at 7.30pm

What is the course?

A toolkit for our times to support yourself and others. A five week crash course in valuable life tools that will help you feel more rooted in what strengthens, supports and resources you and more ready to face whatever challenges might come your way. This will help you, in turn, to support others with greater steadiness, empathy and clarity. We will explore frameworks and practices that will help you and others to regulate your nervous system, deepen support networks, navigate overwhelm, find meaning in adversity, shift mindsets and activate hope. Evidence-based resilience tools have been shown to reduce the risk of depression, stress and anxiety, while also strengthening people’s capacity to cope with adversity.

Who is it for?

This course is for anyone who wants to build their resilience so they can strengthen, flow and grow in the face of life’s challenges. It’s also designed for those who hold space for others - whether as facilitators, leaders, carers, teachers, coaches or peers - and want to develop embodied tools and practices that support resilience and wellbeing for both individuals an groups.

The practices and framings we will explore will not only nurture your own wellbeing, but also equip you with resources to share and support others, personally and professionally. One of our intentions in offering this course online is to make the work we do at Change in Nature more accessible for those who may not be able to commit to a residential retreat.

What will you come away with?

Our objectives are to help you:

  • Start or deepen a resilience practice to help you navigate life’s challenges in a more skilled and resourced way;

  • Increase your capacity to withstand, deal with and recover from challenging situations;

  • Develop resourcing, self-clearing and grounding tools to sustain your capacity to hold space for others and reduces the risk of burnout;

  • Explore frameworks to activate hope which can address feelings of anxiety, despair and uncertainty about the future;

  • Learn tools and practices that you can share with others - both in a personal and professional capacity;

  • Connect with a like-minded community for on-going support, learning and inspiration.
