Getting to Loveland
Here is a pin on Google Maps to help you find us. Loveland encourages walking where possible as parking is in rather short supply at the field. You can drive into Loveland (via Love Lane) and park on the left hand side of the track - there are a few places where you can drive up and access the grass (leaving space for others to also drive up there).
If you are running late on the day or need to contact us, please message on the Thrive in Nature WhatsApp Group.
Loveland Community Field is a locally-led 8 acre site, dedicated to growing food, nurturing wellbeing, caring for the environment, and education.
Walking Map
If you are walking, the entrance to Loveland can be quite hard to find…. It leaves the riverside footpath at roughly What3Words ///ankle.pupils.ground.

What to Bring….
Comfortable & casual outdoor clothes including waterproofs (both jacket & trousers)
Outdoor shoes
Hats (sun hat / woolly hat – depending on the weather)
Wrist watch or other simple time keeping device that is not your phone (if you have one!)
Water bottle
Notebook & pen / pencil
An instrument (if you have one!)
Blanket and (optional) cushion to sit on that you don’t mind being outside
A camp chair (if this is possible for you - we have some seating but not enough for everyone)

Digital Detox
One of the things that people find really beneficial about our workshops is the opportunity to enjoy a short digital detox. We encourage you to get any last minute correspondence done before you arrive and we will invite you to put your phone in a box when gather. We also recognise that this is not possible for everyone (particularly those with care responsibilities) - so you can do whatever feels right for you so that you can keep you can limit your phone use!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
