The Wild Breath

Breath is the most intimate rhythm we share with the living world. Each inhale draws the outside in; each exhale returns something of us back to the wider field of all life and existence.

In this two-hour experiential session we will explore the meeting point between breath, body and nature. Through gentle somatic practices, guided sensing exercises and conscious connected breathwork, we will open the body’s natural capacity to feel, soften, and reconnect.

Although we will be indoors, the work is deeply oriented toward the living world beyond the walls. Through breath and embodied awareness we will explore how the body remembers its belonging - to land, to life, and to the wider web of nature.

The session will include simple body-based practices inspired by somatic and animist traditions, followed by a guided conscious connected breathwork journey supported by music.

This is an invitation to slow down, feel more deeply and rediscover the quiet intelligence that lives in the body and breath.

No previous experience is required.

Thrive in Nature

This is part of the Thrive in Nature, a two-year project supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.

Every six weeks, at key seasonal turning points, we gather for immersive workshops designed to deepen our connection to nature, community and creativity. There has been songs, storytelling, creative writing, personal enquiry, deep nature connection and plenty of laughter - all based on donation (99p-£15).

Come and be part of this journey. We look forward to thriving in nature with you!

The Facilitators….

Aaron

Aaron is a relational psychotherapist and breathwork facilitator, and co-founder of The Well Within. His work explores how breath, body awareness, and relationship can support deep emotional integration and personal change.

Alongside his psychotherapy practice, Aaron facilitates therapeutic breathwork groups and works with individuals and couples around intimacy, attachment, and relational repair. His approach brings together psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and contemplative traditions, creating spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and the living world.

Andy Raingold (host)

Andy has been guiding immersive nature experiences and personal development programmes since founding Change in Nature in 2015. His work includes guiding transformative nature experiences, teaching facilitation skills, leadership training, enhancing creativity, crafting new stories for social change and supporting progressive businesses and organisations to “think differently”.

Rosa

Rosa is a humanistic psychotherapist, supervisor, and group facilitator. Her work centres on creating warm, grounded therapeutic spaces where people can explore their inner world with honesty and compassion.

She has extensive experience supporting people navigating trauma, life transitions, and expanded states of consciousness. Rosa’s work is deeply informed by embodiment, ritual, creativity, and the healing power of nature.
