Friday 25th July (gathering from 6pm, fireside starts at 7pm) at Loveland, Penryn
“The hands know how to solve a riddle the mind has yet to understand.” Carl Jung
Join us for a summer evening of contem-clay-tion!!!. Whether you're shaping a small vessel to hold your intentions, or simply squishing, rolling and seeing what emerges, this is a space for your hands to play and connect with community. No experience needed — just curiosity. We’ll warm up with a gentle grounding practice, then let the clay — and your imagination — be the guide.
What to Expect
Time outdoors connecting with the land and each other
A fire to gather around
Clay in your hands and a space to create with gentle invitations and guidance
A chance to pause, reflect and laugh

Thrive in Nature
This is the third Thrive in Nature workshop, a two-year project supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.
Every six weeks, at key seasonal turning points, we’ll gather for immersive workshops designed to deepen our connection to nature, community, and creativity. Expect songs, storytelling, creative writing, personal enquiry, deep nature connection, and plenty of laughter - all based on donation (99p-£15).
Come and be part of this journey!
We look forward to thriving in nature with you! 🌱✨

To book, you are invited to make a charitable donation (pay what you feel, £99p - £15). All funds raised for this workshop will go to Loveland which offers an open and welcoming space to encourage local people to get more involved in the growing of our food through working, learning and gathering together.
The facilitators
Beth Richardson
Beth is a local aritst who paints everyday objects in empty spaces and explore the strangely human characteristics the objects reveal both alone and in relation to each other. She hosts regular Clay Table evenings in her studio near Constantine - a chance for folk to gather, chat and squidge!
Andy Raingold
Andy has been guiding immersive nature experiences and personal development programmes since founding Change in Nature in 2015. His work includes guiding transformative nature experiences, teaching facilitation skills, leadership training, enhancing creativity, crafting new stories for social change and supporting progressive businesses and organisations to “think differently”.
