Solstice Sing

Gather around the fire on the longest day of the year

Sunday 21st June (6-9.30pm)

Charity Donation for Clean Ocean Sailing (99p to £15)

with choir leader Alex Dunkley and Andy Raingold

Honouring the Light at its Peak

For this Summer Solstice we are going to gather together through song and abundance. We aim to co-create a mandala for the solstice on the land - one which we invite you to bring any flowers you may have in your garden or perhaps a handful of shells you have picked up from the shoreline. Or you might just bring an intentional thought for the longest day of the year to mark the peak of the sun’s power.

We will learn some songs in beautiful but easy harmonies, taught entirely by ear and absolutely no experience required. There will also be space to share songs that you bring yourselves or you are welcome to just listen! We look forward to welcoming your voices and joining together in heartfelt songs.

Timings

  • 6.00pm - Arrivals

  • 6.30pm - Bring-and-share dinner

  • 7.00pm - Fireside and singing

  • 9.30pm - Finish

Thrive in Nature

This is a two-year project supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.

Every six weeks, at key seasonal turning points, we’ll gather for immersive workshops designed to deepen our connection to nature, community, and creativity. Expect songs, storytelling, creative writing, personal enquiry, deep nature connection, and plenty of laughter - all based on donation (99p-£15). Come and be part of this journey! Join our WhatsApp group here to be kept in the loop.

Songwriting by the Sea

You may also be interested in joining us this winter at a stunning clifftop house on the Cornish coast - where waves crash below and seals often grace the shore. Songwriting by the Sea with Martha Tilston and Andy Raingold is a space to slow down, sink in and let your songs emerge from a deeper place of connection. More info [here].

Book Now to Secure Your Place

These workshops often sell out so early booking recommended.

To book, you are invited to make a charitable donation (pay what you feel, £99p - £15). All funds raised for this workshop will go to Clean Ocean Sailing which has the aim of cleaning our coasts and oceans sustainably under sail, and raising awareness about ocean plastics (based in Gweek).
